A date to Midvalley, The Garden, G-3.

On a Friday during Chinese New Year. Me and dear planned to go Midvalley and The Garden to shopping, have a walk and buy some books in Borders Bookshop because of the promotion of Free Membership if spending RM100 with 1Malaysia Voucher.

Before reaching there, we went to have Lunch in a Restaurant near to Bangsar Village as it is only nearby to Midvalley as well. It is called G-3, first time been to there.

Will be mainly Photos in this blog post. =)

The Menu..

Ice Peach Tea & Chocolate Shake.

We just order one Pizza as Main Course as all their dishes are in quite big plate.

Looks delicious, yummy~

Eat with these sauces is the best!

We ordered another side order, their chips with special sauces.

The size of the chips are bigger than usual and the quantity is a lot too, definitely worth for the price.

The sauce is really nice too!

Then we been to The Garden Mall, bought some books at Borders Bookshop, get the free membership card. And then take a walk around there.

Walked to Midvalley Mall, went to the Topshop that So Called having promotion shirts selling from RM9. But there are not much of choices and those cloths that are nicer definitely did not cost even near to RM9, feels like being cheated. Disappointed.

Went to have a sit and eat some Snowflakes. =)

Bought a Dreamweaver book that can help me to do my Final Year Project.

Free 3 years of Membership with two mini cards, haha.

Meaning anyone having the mini cards can have discounts and member previllege as well under this name. Quite good and convenient!

Few days later I spend all my Rm200 1 Malaysia Voucher in Popular One Utama, buying mostly Computer stuffs. As in Popular you can use it to buy anything. I bought a Logitech Wireless Combo Set Keyboard + Mouse, and a Cooling fan for laptop. If I had extra I would have buy a headphone or a mini speaker too, LoL.

These are what I spend for the Rm200 voucher, not bad la.. haha

End of CNY~~

One of the big event for Chinese, The Chinese New Year for this year is finally Over.

In this two weeks everyone sure had a good time visiting relatives, eating good food, taking ang pao's, having a good time gambling, winning money and so on.

After having so many days of holidays from Chinese New Year, and 2 days bonus holidays for Nabi Muhammad day, Thaipusam, it is time for many people to back to their work and studies. After this holidays, there are no more holidays for me and have to rush through the semester with full speed.

In this post is gonna have a few activities and places that I visit during this festival.

It is the Fourth day of CNY, we had a whole day trip at Kepong with my Menjalara School friends. Visiting each other house, taking ang pao, gamble and have fun. Like we did for the past few years.

Taking photo in each house as memories and seeing the amount of Ang Pao increasing in each photo, LoL!

This is the Last Station, which is my house.

We visit a total of 10 houses meaning around 10 Ang Pao's in hand. =)

After visiting at Night some more we had steamboat dinner at Dream Shabu Shabu, from morning till night, a tiring but fun day!

On a Friday, we had our dating in KL.

We planned to go Midvalley + The Garden Mall because of a few reasons, one of it is to visit the Borders shop at The Garden Mall by using the 1Malaysia Voucher.

Had our Lunch at G3, a Western Restaurant nearby to Bangsar Village.

Only put a few pictures here.

Will be having a separate blog post on this as there will be lots more of pictures.

Another day out with my Sunway College friends..

They are really pro, luckly i dun have to drive, just sit their car go.

We went to a famous restaurant called Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant.

Got Lala, Shark fin soup, and all kinds of seafood we order...

One of the favourite dish here i guess, the Coconut Prawn, very special right?

Already almost 9, 10PM at night still full of people~~

Finished everything~~

The total bill is only about RM200++ for 7 people we have.

It is consider very cheap for eating seafood like this.

The dishes all are nice!

A very recommended restaurant! =)

One the same day we visit to one of the friend nearby at Shah Alam.

He just moved to a new house, the place called Kelab Golf Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah.

Inside are all the rich and expensive houses.

Barlicious @ Solaris Hartamas & Happy CNY!

The First Post in Year 2012, incredible fast it is already coming at the end of the Month January. Meaning that for Chinese people, Chinese New Year is coming, all getting ready and happily to receives many Ang Pao, Yeah~

We had been really seldom updating this blog anymore, one of the reason is lazy, another is busy, haha. After my girl girl finished her Final Exams, she straight away went to work as CNY Biscuit seller in The Curve, is the same brand that she worked last year too. Anyone nearby can go visit her a bit. =P

Just a short update of what are the places we went for this Month.
Firstly, is on the day she finish her last paper, I promised to treat her eat a good meal. Therefore I booked a table in Solaris Hartamas, Barlicious.

Actually I bought the deal from Groupon a while ago. It is a Set of Western Meal with 3 Course Meal and 1 Bottomless drink. I bought 2 set for us.

It took us a while to found the place because we thought is at another area of Solaris Mont Kiara, make us turn many rounds to get to the right place.

Tata, we arrived at the Destination.

First time coming to this area, it is a very high class street and have many shops and restaurants available.

Also the photos in this post are taken with Phone Camera because that day I just back from University straight meet up with her. Therefore not able to take really nice photo of the food n the place.

Count Down for 2012

It is already been one week since the count down or should I say the last day of last year, 2011. How's your first week of 2012 people? ^^

Here is a little update of the count down activities for the count down during last day of 2011. This time the venue was at Desa Park City because here is much peaceful and calm environment compare to The Curve, Sungai Wang and so on, the insane and crazy environment we had last year, lol~

And surprisingly this time my dear able to come out and count down with us too, so happy. It is our first time count down for new year, gonna give her a first kiss when the fireworks start flying to the shy at 12.00am, haha!

Bought 3 of the Light Lantern since there are many people playing too.

Writing all our wishes to the Lantern and fly it to the sky, then our wishes will come true! (hopefully)

I only get about 3 or 4 good shots of the fireworks, it is not easy to capture the amazing moment of fireworks. Next year, I mean this year's count down I should do a Video Recording instead of taking pictures.

After that, we continue with our Lantern because we still got two more to play with, yeah~

Maxwell Hill, Taiping - Part 2

This is about the second day we had in Maxwell Hill, Taiping.

Before proceeding to the second day, these are some of the foods we cooked and had in the bungalow, as there are no restaurant or any shops on top of the hill.

Getting ready for dinner, looks at all the foods we prepare.

Some are for tomorrow's morning breakfast as well.

The Mini Kitchen, we had to bring our own cooking equipments too, they did not provide any, this is not a very good service..

Foods and Rice are all Ready! Start to eat~ =)

The Second Day...

We went out for an early walk at the hill after having our breakfast.

Enjoying the fresh air, the scenery and taking pictures.

Maxwell Hill, Taiping - Family Trip

Happy 2012!!!
This will be the first blog post for this year. Nothing very special, but also consider a memorable and amazing journey for the ending of 2011 with my family.

Already been a long time we did not have such a family vacation. This time before the year ends, at 29th of December 2011, we had a trip to Maxwell hill, Taiping. We had a 2 days 1 night stay there. To be honest there is really not much entertainment over there, as it is located at high hill in the natural habitat. So you'll just able to enjoy the view and fresh air up there.

After the driving journey of more than 3 hours, we arrived at the bottom hill Maxwell hill, did some check in registration and proceed....

So, we were sitting this with other people until the truck in full, we sitting inside like sardine. Not only that, it is a more than half and hour journey. This thing is going to ride us up to the hill with a very fast speed and speeding cornering. Anyone want to try a real time roller coaster can go try this one.

We arrived at our bungalow!!!

There are only about 10+ of bungalow like this around the hill, so actually not very much crowded with people as the spaces are already limited.

Christmas Eve @ Tropicana City Mall & Nando's

It is Christmas Eve!!!

And it is a Saturday too, means this year Christmas eve will spend with my Lover too. =)
However, nothing very special, we still go to watch movie, had some nice lunch and do some shopping. But instead of the usual places, this time we went to Tropicana City Mall.

The Christmas Mood in Tropicana City Mall is not bad too, like others it had a very big Christmas Tree and the Theme was related to Candy I guess, cause there are a lot of Candy decorations as well.

The Movie we watch this time will be Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocols

We wanted to watch since last week but already fully sold, so we manage to watch it this time.

Some simple review of the movie by me.

It is the Fourth Episode of Mission Impossible, and it is still very cool! Tom Cruise is still very fit at doing all the crazy moves and actions. The storyline for us might be a little bit confusing, maybe we did not understand some part or what were they saying, but it is still an awesome movie!

It is a movie that you should not missed before the end of 2012. =)

Lastly before going back we had a dessert of Ice Cream at I Scream.
They are selling very good Ice Cream too with a little cheaper compare to the H.branded and BR.branded Ice Cream. Also I bought this in Groupon Website too with a very cheap price.

One thing special about this is they ask us to choose two type of ice cream and then mix it together, with one topping and source. Quite special and nice.

Sunway Pyramid Christmas Deco & Arrio Coffee

Continue from the previous post, Sunway Pyramid also have some Christmas Decoration and performance, but I feel is not as magnificent as One Utama, Lol.
But the actual reason we come here is not only to see the decoration, but to watch movie and to claim something which I have bought earlier.

I recently became a fan of Groupon and bought a few deals from them, mostly in foods. And the price after discount is only RM11 for two cups of Coffee to choose from Caramel, Cappucino, Mocha, and so on. Not sure whether nice or not, just to try it out since it is cheap and the place is suitable for us.

We located the Coffee Shop and right below it is the stage and one of the area for Christmas decorations. There are performance later on as well.

We Planned to watch Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol that day but unfortunately the tickets are sold out when we queue up to buy it. Therefore we had to choose another movie which is Alvin and the Chipmunk 3. I just roughly watched the previous episodes from TV but did not really watch finish them. I like the movie, it is funny, meaningful and it is cute, haha.

I like their sound especially when they are singing...

I also like the last part of their performance which they did a mixture of few songs together, unfortunately I cant found it on youtube.

However, I like the bad romance too, haha.

Outings in 1Utama & Christmas Decoration

Christmas and New Year is coming really soon...
Many places like shopping malls are having lots of decorations for Christmas and all kinds of activities and shows. Out of all these we only been to One Utama and Sunway Pyramid.

One Utama always have very nice decorations at the New Wings main hall, this time is not exceptional. They are using underworld and seashell as the theme. Below are some of the pictures we taking during our outing in 1 Utama.

Freedom at last!!!!!

Finally, my final exams are over and my semester six is OVER!

The Final exams only last for 4 days for four subjects. And that is just insane cause all the subjects are heavy. I hardly got anytime left to sleep for doing the final revision for all the subjects. The subjects for this semester are so tough.

My semester six is actually gonna be my second last semester of in-campus studies as suppose next semester I will be completing all the remaining subjects and then go for my internship the following semester. And finally finish my Degree. But after this finals, Im not really sure I can pass all the subjects for this semester because Im sure I did not do well. =(

Finally Having my holidays now...

Whether or not I will pass all my subjects, next sem is gonna be a very tough semester for me. I'll really have to improve myself and try not to enjoy too much in this holiday.

Christmas and New Year are coming as well, lots of celebration will be going on sooner. Hope there will be a good ending for this year and a HAPPY START for next year 2012!

This Temple is only nearby to Broga Hill which is around 10 minute drives.

It is a big Temple with many stone sculpture such as the 12 Animals of Zodiac, Sun Wu Kong, Guan Yin, and so on... We only stay at there for a short while and take some pictures...

Broga Hill Malaysia, Semenyih - Part 1

During the public Holiday of Depavalli 2011, Finally we made the first visit to one of the Famous Landmark and Hiking Hill in Malaysia, The Broga Hill. It is located near Semenyih, also known as Bukit Lalang, about 50 km of driving from Kuala Lumpur. This place will be extremely pack towards the Weekend or Public Holidays. It is famous for its Beautiful Scenery with Amazingly Stunning Greeneries on the top of the hill.

We Start the Engine early in the Morning at about 6.30am, arrived at 7.30am at the Destination, passed by University of Nottingham and a Rabbit Park. When we reached there are already full with lots of cars, even the parking lot is full, have to park at a further place.

I'm quite surprised with the number of cars although already expect to be a lot people, but the amount of cars here in the early morning is really shocking.

It was one Saturday we having our regular dating. The place was at Sunway Pyramid, same day we bought the Special Popcorn from Planet Popcorn. We were walking and looking for Food. We went insinde Asia Avenue of Sunway Pyramid, as walked to the Food Junction, we saw this Shop seems quite interesting, Simple Design but Bring out a nice smell of Taiwanese Food, and there are quite numbers of customers too, we decide to stop by and have our Lunch here.

The Place called Formosa.

This is the Menu, after you made your choice, you have to walk to the counter the make your order and make the payment first. (SELF-SERVICE)

Here! There's another ICON of REPRESENTATIVE for KUALA LUMPUR!
It can be considered as one of the last remaining Hainanese Kopitiam in KL!
<YUT KEE RESTAURANT>! *Somewhere near Sogo & KL Tower! When ur head up, u can see a spectacular big building of KL Tower!

Yut Kee is known as 老字号 because it has been around since 1928!

My dad brought us here! As he passed by here one day and saw there's OVER-CROWDED until people are actually lining outside...
Eventually, we had our lunch kinda late that day.. It was already 3pm if not mistaken..
Therefore, there are some foods were sold out...Too bad had not tried out the ROTI BABI...!!!

The Best thing here.. Yut Kee Kopitiam still has its charm indeed:)
It still keeps its interior designs with old photos.. old electronic devices...
and mostly important would be the TASTES of the TRADITIONAL FOODS that has been passing down for few generations !
Now,it's already the 3rd generation if im not mistaken !

Their workers there are nice and friendly! Services provided are good :)
However, mostly of them are not local i think.. but foreign workers who can speak Cantonese well to us!

Every time when someone said Popcorn, what is the first thing that comes in your mind? Yes that's Right! Movie!!! But the Popcorn that Im going to share here in this post is totally different than the Popcorn you always had in Cinema.

This Popcorn is came from Taiwan...

Now currently have two branches newly opened in Malaysia.

One is here, Sunway Pyramid and another is at Times Square

The guy there...

He came from Taiwan, he is the Owner of this Popcorn recipe I think..

They called him the 爆米花达人

I think that is him on the TV there, which is in a Taiwan show introducing his Popcorn.

There are different choices of Popcorn, Original, Chocolate, Seaweed, Cheese, Vanilla, Corn, BBQ and so on. Among the best seller are Original, Chocolate and Cheese flavour.

Cool huh? Ever think of Popcorn that comes with different flavour?

Different Flavour with different price...

For Bucket, it is around RM 14 - 19.

For Packet ones, it is around RM 8 to 11.

We bought two, Seaweed and Original.

They named it as " UFO" !!!

(What a name that definitely easily for us to REMEMBER!)

We had a consider quite special outing to The Garden Mall. Which is just located next to Midvalley Mall. One of the plan for today is to a movie that we both very interested and expecting, Johnny English 2011 by Rowan Atkinson, who is the actor of Mr Bean!

In The Garden Mall, the cinema is a little more special and unique than others, it is called GSC Signature, the cinema is bigger, better seating, better service and of course the price will be a little more "special" as well. Just trying it for the first time.

For my opinion, this is one of the "Must Watch Movie" in 2011.

Epic epic epic! Also might be his last movie because he is getting older. A character that been accompany us since young giving us so many laughers. Must give supports!!!

The Movie is funny, story line is consider good as well, just sit there and enjoy the movie, best to watch it in Cinema... ^^

Next is time for Lunch...

Sushi Zanmai, as we long time never eat this and it is always full of crowd, since at here the crowd is lesser, we just to try it... ^^

Aunty Lan Homemade Noodles has a few outlets if not mistaken..

Well, food tastes not bad and they do have some signature dishes that u would have to try it out!

Economic price as they do offer some combo sets or u just need to top up a few ringgit to have a slice of their Homemade Cake + Drinks!

Importantly, it stated that their noodles are :

100% Natural , No Preservative , No Colouring!

Sweet Soy Sauce Village Chicken Dry Noodles - Rm9.90
Just Top Up a few Ringgit, u will get a Drink + a slice of their homemade cake!

*The outlook obviously attracted us! The Village Chicken Meat is braised well and Soft!

Only a few days this movie has been released, it was surprisingly to say that it has gained a lot supports from all of us although this movie is not funded by government.
The seats in cinema almost fully booked since that day was Malaysia Day.
Even we were sitting in the 4th row from the front...

Ohya, I would like to say the look of Karen Kong who with the thick black eyebrow ...

Neh, the middle girl in the bottom of the poster...:)

this movie is going to be prohibited to release in cinema very soon...

As a part of Malaysian, 1 Malaysia Concept is good.

To make it successfully implemented, ACTION would be much more effective rather than just saying in words or singing the 1 Malaysia Songs...
